I have a 2000 road king. Suddenly it is making a sickening bang when I hit a bump! Pressure is good and it only happens when I am going a little faster and the bump is sharp. What could this be? Please advise, thanks

 

Have you checked the Flux Capacitor?

 

Check your jiffy stand spring. If stretched, it could be bottoming out.

 

motor mount ?? broke shock?? fork bottoming out??

 

I will have to take it in. After reading the advise, I realize it could be the jiffy stand, it is quite loose, but I am not sure it could make a noise that loud! I have a trustworthy mechanic so I will have to pay him a visit with your suggestions in mind. Thanks boys.
