Stuck! Dyna Wide Glide won't start!
Hi guys,
I have a 2002 Dyna Wide Glide. I just replaced the starter and it wouldn't start. The battery turned out to be dead, so I put a new one in. It fired up and I went to work. Its monsoon season here in Tucson, so I got hit pretty hard by a storm and got really soaked. The storm passed and I tried to start the bike, but nothing happens. I went through some of the threads, but couldn't find anything similar to this.
I turn the key, all the lights come on, but when I hit the button, nothing happens. Absolutely nothing, no clicks, no lights dimming, nothing. The lights are pretty bright, so I'm assuming the batter still has a good charge. I thought it was maybe the relay, so I changed it just in case, but still nothing. Also, my FOB doesn't seem to work anymore. I changed the battery in it, but still nothing.
I really just want to get it started again, so I can move it somewhere safer, until I can figure it out.
Any ideas?

Just how far did you ride it to get to work after changing the battery out? The battery that you bought as a replacement may have been sitting on the parts shelf for an extended amount of time and may have no longer been fully charged anymore with enough juice to at first start the bike but then after short ride would have just drained the battery down even more. I've seen it happen before like that.
