Default 2001 Fatboy - Neutral Light and Oil Drip

My Neutral Light comes on and off when in Neutral. One day it's on, then a couple weeks later it's off. Weird stuff. Anyone have this problem or know what it is??

Also, this was my first oil change. the bike only had 1300 miles on it when i bought it this month. There is a slight discharge of oil. Like one drop every two days inder the filter area. The dealer/mechanic says that oil gets trapped in the filter area whenever the oil is changed. If it doesn't get cleaned up right, oil will drip occassionally. He says it's nothing to worry about. Maybe he's right?? Anyone with the same problem???

Regards,

sounds like aloose conection on your neutral sensor in the tranny, and yes oil does get trapped in the filter area, and will drip if not cleaned up.
