recently "lost" my wide glide front end to a reckless driver. I will be replacing it with a cool mid-glide that is much more to my liking. I like the wider front tires vs the skinny tires. since I also need a new front wheel i was wondering whats the widest wheel I can get into a mid-glide with a single disk brake set up? I would LOVE to run a 150mm front tire but even a 130mm would be nice. anyone know?

 

follow up question. I found a 21/3.5 front wheel that I could run and enjoy but its llisted as a "touring" wheel. what does that mean?

 

It is set up for dual discs.

 

It also means that the hub is too wide for your Mid-glide

I have a 130 up front. I laced my hub to a 16" wheel. I do not have a good picture though.
