Hi my bike had an indicator red light that turned on after I rode it for about 30 minutes. it stayed on the whole time until I got home. it was in the speedometer on the middle name the right hand side...right next to where the speedometer needle connects. the next day it did the same thing. what could it be?

 

Could be the check engine light, which means the bike threw a code. Your owner's manual should have a pic of the light that you're seeing.

 

Check to insure all of your bulbs are lit. The BCM throws a code and illuminates the red security led when it detects a bad bulb or lighting problem.
