07 fxstsse w thundermax autotune *HELP*

Default 07 fxstsse w thundermax autotune *HELP*

Hi all, im glad someone told me where to post this.
i have a zippers thundermax w autotune on a 07 fxstsse. when the bike is hot and i shut her down if i go to start her, she blows the ecm fuse. the hd ecm works fine. the aic motor was changed.
any info on this? thanks hdmarkg

Not to state the obvious but If the unit only blows ecm fuses with the Thundermax ecm & not the factory ecm than it's the Thundermax ecm causing the problem. I love Zippers 80" hammer sportster kit but as far as the Thundermax autotune ecm's I am not impressed. Nothing but issues from what I have seen. Does your security light stay on? That's also a Thundermax common issue.

An additional note: Most 2007 Softail's had recall 0130. Basicaly the positive batt cable chafes on a oil tank weld. The recall includes inspecting the cables & installing a plastic tray for the cables. Give your vin# to the local dealer & see if it's been done.
