Default 1991 FLHTC - Passenger Floorboards Relocation Mounts?

Has anyone found a kit that will relocate the passenger floorboards on a 1991 FLHTC? My wife is rather short and the boards are too low, and the saddle bag guards hit the backs of her calves making it very uncomfortable for her. I am waiting to hear back from the Harley Parts Dept, but thought I would hit up the forum to see if any of you have a solution that won't cost me an arm and a leg. I did find a Harley kit online, but it said it was for 1993 and up? Maybe it will fit? But its almost frickin $400 too.

93 and up WILL NOT FIT ... Don't think HD makes such an animal. Rivco might but pricey.

I don't think Kuryakyn makes them for 1992 and earlier but you might give them a try.

Thanks, I figured as much. Maybe I can get a custom bracket made to make the newer versions work on this year. Will check out Rivco.

Just talked to a buddy of mine who is a fabricator. He is going to make me an adapter plate to relocate the factory floor boards where I need them. Hope we are successful. I will post the results when we get it completed.

Hallelujah! So after further investigation yesterday, I had my Harley next to my buddy's harley, and noticed the trunk/seat spacing was extremely different between the 2. Looked under mine and notice the PO had installed some homemade extension brackets to get the trunk set back about 2". So I removed them and got the trunk back up against the seat and whallah, she can now reach the floorboards comfortably. Another win for the home team, and another solution that didn't cost me any money! Gotta love that!
