after I posted my comment I was reading an article from NOAA about how we would have a warmer fall, this replaces the article from 2 weeks ago saying we were going to have a colder september, I'm in the wrong business!

my bike is 2000 road king cv carb 98 ci andrews 57 cam supertrapp supermeg 24 disk closed cap 24 disk 107 tq 98 hp i made a ride with my friend night train 2006 stock 88 ci for a 300 miles trip i take less than a gallon more than him with my windshield and tour pak quich detach on it

Basically all internal combustion engines are heat pumps and as such simply convert chemicals (gasoline/diesel) into energy in the form of heat. Sounds to me like the thermal efficiency of your engine is lower than that of your friends' bikes. Truth be told, there are so many variables, even in apparently identical machines, that there will always be differences in thermal efficiency. In your case though, a 25% difference in mileage is pretty extreme. I would guess you're just running a richer mixture than your friend. Try comparing plug colors and see if they look different.
