1997 Road King stalls letting out clutch
My 1997 Road King with stock 1340 Evo and carb just today started stalling after the motor is warmed up and I begin to let out the clutch and give her some gas, no matter how high I rev her. This happens after running her 5-10 miles. She runs fine before that.
She will idle and rev to high RPMs in neutral all day long without missing a beat, but when I drop her into 1st and start to let out the clutch, she conks right out, sometimes backfiring.
I used some carb cleaner in hopes of unclogging something in the carb, but no help. Seems like she's not getting enough fuel, but because she idles and revs fine I'm not sure if that's it.
She just had her 80K service, although she got a remanufactured motor 11K miles ago. Part of the service was checking and cleaning the fuel filter, but that was 400 miles ago.
So, bad gas? Clogged carb jets? Loose wire? Thoughts?
Thanks!

Thanks, Baird. No, can't push it in gear (with the clutch out). She runs fine until she's warmed up, so I don't think she's seized up anywhere. It seems like a combustion/timing issue, but only when she's warmed up and I let the clutch out to go... just conks out. VOES or an engine sensor maybe? I'll take one more look, but I'm about to take it to H-D and pay the man on this one.
