Just got word that the Detroit Swap Meet ( scheduled for tomorrow Nov16th at the Suburban Showplace ) has been cancelled ... No reason was given.

 

because folks are tired of gettin ripped off by the company holding it!!! hope someone else can get one set up that fair for everyone.

 

True enough ... I remember back in the day ( when they were held at the State Fair ) paying $3.00 to get in and no charge for parking.

 

Yep, then after hang'in out at the fairgrounds, heading over to the Stonehouse(oldest bar in Detroit) for the rest of the afternoon. I went to that cluster at Novi once. Never again.

 

Yep .. The Novi Swap was more like a wallet and jewelry thing ... sad.

 

so where the hell are the swap meets in the area???? i cant believe that the crap in novi was the only show in town?!?!?!? are the gibralter swaps growing in size?
