Default Ohio Dealerships

I think I'm going to collect poker chips from all the Ohio Harley dealerships. I've got 12 so far and the weather is turning so I think I'll be able to get five more on saturday.

What's your favorite Ohio dealership?

Least favorite?

Thanks, I'm going to see if I can hit Cincy tomorrow. I hope to pick up all four chips there and (if there's time) roll route 50 over to chillicothe and pick up a chip there too.

I spent some time at Wright- Patterson a few years back. I stopped in Buckmann's in Xenia, and Dayton H-D I believe it was.

I visited Buckmann's last week. I got to Buckeye H-D in Dayton today. Buckeye seems like one of the largest (just by building size) I've seen so far. It was a good weekend for visits - got to all four Cincy dealerships and the Chillicothe H-D on saturday, and made it to Bellefontaine Hi-Point, Piqua, and Dayton today.

This is a good idea just to get out on the bike. Sometimes I don't know where to ride to and end up just doing the same ride I always do.

Well, I'm up to 25 collected. I got over to Steubenville and visited Neidergard's Harley Davidson. Really nice folks. They say they are the oldest dealership in Ohio they just don't have the "official" provenance from the MOCO that A.D. Farrow has. They do have a framed pencil written franchise form from 1903 or so - which, if valid, would make them older than A.D. Farrow.

I bought a tee shirt from them just so I can wear it into one of AD Farrow locations :-)

Gonna try to visit some of the furthest dealerships (from me) up in the Toledo are tomorrow.

Stinger (formerly Century) in Medina, Rock n Roll in Cleveland and Adventure in Dover are all cool dealerships. I've bought two bikes from Century/Stinger.

Stinger is gonna make me go back :-) I have a Century poker chip and they don't have the "Stinger" ones yet so someday I'll get to revisit them.

So, aside from Stinger I only have one more dealership to visit: Warren HD in Cortland. Maybe I'll get a chance next weekend. Then I'll have chips from all 40 dealerships in Ohio

:-)

Silly goal, I know, but at least I've gotten around to parts of the state I rarely (if ever) go. Plus I've gotten to meet some great people.

Baxter's in Gallipolis. They saved my *** today, had a clutch cable in stock when none of my local dealers did. About a 70 mile ride but well worth it.
