Guys, this is looking like it's going to be a pretty big event going on July 18th 2009. The ride is for basically toys for tots, but created by a guy and his wife in the middle of July for the guys or gals like me that just really don't want to get out thier bikes out in the snow and ice and go to toys for tots but still want to donate to less fortunate kids. I talked to the guy and his wife last week at Oak Lawn HD while at a bike show/swap meet, he mentioned that his thinking was he would have about 500 to 1000 people interested. It turns out there may be inexcess of nearly 5000 or more. The ride meets and begins at Dakota's Inn 11219 S. Pulaski Alsip, Illinois, at 8am and leaves there at 10 am. THe ride goes 70 miles to a placce called E J Kars 4275 Grand Ridge Road in Verona Illinois. Food drinks on the end and three bands for either $10 and a toy per person, or $15 without a toy. Good time and a nice long ride, people interested and want to joinmy group of I believe 5 to 8 guys PM me.
