Grew up mostly in Reynolds county a couple hours south of St. Louis, near where Black River empties into Clearwater lake. Also spent lived near the MO/AR border on Table Rock Lake.

Live in South County St. Louis now (Oakville). I bought my last bike from Docs, (even though Gateway is closer)

Used to go to St. Joe quite a bit with a riding buddy but he no longer has a bike. I actually keep my dirtbike at my parents' house which is a little over an hour south of Farmington/Park Hills. It needs new tubes and a few extras. I have the new tubes in my car trunk right now and next time I'm at their house I'm going to put them in and take it for a good trail ride.

First time I rode in St. Joe (on an older '84 CR250, I found the mud hole in the north east corner a little deeper than I expected when I nose dived into it and buried the front wheel in mud. Bike stayed in place on the one wheel like it was in a vice and engine stayed running. Guess the seat (and air intake and carb) were just barely above the water. Had to wade in and lift while a four wheeler pulled me out. The clothes I had on were ruined, not because of stains, but because no amount of washing would remove that mudhole smell.

I'm about 60 miles east of St. Louis. We usually make a few trips over to fast eddies every year, or go up to grafton and ride the river road.
