Velorex 700 on a Dyna?

Couldn't get a good finish with the aluminum paint so I pulled the body and refinished with a different type of paint. I didn't get as good a colour match but did get a lot better finish.
While the body was off and up on sawhorses, my dog would stand in the middle of the frame where the body SHOULD have been and look very sad! When I set the body back in place, she climbed in before I had a chance to put the bolts in! She was happy again

Got the door fitted on the sidecar, lights installed, made a rain cover and a windshield, bow waiting for the ice to melt off my laneway so I can get the rig to the road for a test ride.
More pictures on my web page for anybody who's interested:

Got the rain cover made for the sidecar.
Made a removable windshield from polycarbonate.
And had it out yesterday on the muddy roads, first with 50 pounds of ballast and then with a 200 pound passenger. Everything seemed to work fine though it has been 40 years since I have ridden with a sidecar and I need some practice!
Took it to the village (30 miles) today to pick up a few things. It is a lot easier to handle and more docile on the blacktop! I am going to enjoy this! LOL!

I have had a chance to put quite a few hours on the rig now and I am very happy with the overall handling and performance. It is a bit of an upper body workout in a strong prairie crosswind but its damn handy for throwing just about anything you can think of in the sidecar (including things for other riders LOL!)
The Velorex chassis and homemade body seem to be a good combination and, with 40 Kg of ballast, it sticks to the road pretty good.
My hound doesn't like the noise of the motorcycle yet but I am working with her.
