Rocketeer Sidecars
#11
Do to my heath I have been driving a rig 2002 Ultra with OEM Harley sidecar for two years about 20,000 miles and I will never go back solo. It is my only transportation at 60 and if I ever got rid of it I would have 7 grandchildren that would dis own me. Do those sidecars you have a link to have a brake on the hack??? Keep in mind you get what you pay for and I know you do not want to put your daughter in just anything!

I bought one.
I just bought installed a Euro Rocketeer sidecar. It is a kit and requires several hours of assembly and work. It is also a very cheap kit but it doeshave a torsion suspension and although I read many complaints on line my experience was fine.
It seems to be very stable and my wife loves it.

Update
The Rocketeer IS an inexpensive sidecar and not heavy duty but that is what I was looking for and the price was right. I have had 4 sidecars now and I am really likeing it. I am ready to make some mods to the frame to beef it up but it has been worth it. It took it to Daytona and won a trophy also. I did the flames to match the factory tank paint and had it pinstriped in Daytona.

They are cheapies but sometimes that's all you need. I was looking at them for my little bar hopper that I built as an alternative to building one from scratch or using DMC's frame kit. It is a run around town rig and will use it for grocery runs and carting my dog around. The bike is pretty light so a small light car would work well.
I ended up buying a whole rig, '83 GoldWing with Texas/Spirit Of America car for less than the cost of just a sidecar. I'll pull the car off it for the HD and then sell the GoldWing.
Your rig turned out pretty nice and I bet you get lots of looks and comments on it. I'm sure you know, but I'd check the wheel bearing on it regularly as I heard they are kind of low quality.
I think if you took off the trailer style fender and put on an FLH fender it would pretty cool.
