what's a good trike kit for a 92 softail ?

 

Hannigan, Roadsmith and Champion all have kits that will fit your bike and all are quality kits. There may be others, but those are 3 I know of. A lot of good trike manufactures make softail conversions but they specify 2000 and up. I don't know why. When you pick a kit, a lot of it has to do with personal preference. Like picking from a Toyota and a Honda or a Chevy and a Ford. One is just as good as the other, just different. There is definitely some junk out there but the 3 I mentioned are all good. I personally have a Champion. You may also want to check with California Sidecar (CSC) and ask about their conversion kit. I like them, but they are one that specify 2000 and up. There is always the Frankenstein if that's the style of trike you are thinking. I personally don't care for them, but that's me. Many guys have them and like them.
