A simple and cheap security measure I believe someone mention is to use a zip tie at the hooks to make sure they don't come unloose if you hit a bump. I have done this each time I trailer a bike. A little pease of mind.

Man, I'd be lying if I wasn't jealous for the pictures! Thanks for sharing with the group.

A last few, this was the setup, no problems with the trailer or the GMC...thanks again for all the tips.

Nice looking trailer. Going to buy one this weekend to haul the bike sometimes and to haul crap also. What's the brand of yours?

It's a Diamond Cargo, made in Georgia, it's a single bike 6'x10', enough for me. From what I read most trailers are made in that area, you're not too far from there so if you could pick one up at the factory you could save the shipping costs. Mine is a "new" 2013, bought by a local dealer up here in NY. He bought it for himself but never used it or registered it, too small for him. He got himself a 2 bike trailer and this one sat in his yard. He was advertising on Craigs List, I looked at it twice and we eventually worked out a price we were both happy with. So far so good...good luck getting yours.

End up getting a 6x12 Homesteader so when I eventually have to trike my bike it will still fit.

Very nice, good luck....I was looking at a 6x12 and a 7x12 but went smaller as I don't have a lot of property and that extra 2' made a difference when stored in the yard...happy trailering!
