Default Anyone pulling a trailer with a 2017 Limited ?

Is anyone pulling a trailer with a M8 yet ??? I have a 2017 Limited and will be putting on the trailer hitch soon to pull my Uni-go trailer. Was looking to hear what setting you are using on the shocks and what wiring harness you bought.

Thanks in advance, Be Safe, JIM

FYI Check with your dealer. I'm pretty sure it will void your warranty. Also check insurance

I am pulling a home built one wheel with a 2016 Limited, the 2017 is not much different, electrically. I used a Krome Werks isolator/converter. I tried the Kuryakyn converter but they would fail on installation. The KW converter was a piece of cake.
Shocks? I run about 50 PSI in them normally, maybe 55 with the trailer.
And yes, you will void your warranty, it is clearly stated in the owners manual. For years HD recommended against it, now it is clearly forbidden, but ya gotta do what you gotta do!
As for insurance State Farm could care less.

I pulled my trailer this weekend. Have a 17 RK. I have lowering kit on bike and shocks set on about 3/4 max (not sure on number). Bike pulls trailer very well, and takes off great. Had some problem with rear bottoming out. adjusted shocks little tighter, but not max. Helped, I think lowering kit is causing some problems. But bike handled trailer great.

I bought wiring from electric connection for 14 limited. Used it only couple times. Installed it on RK and could not get brake lights to work on turn signal wiring I have had problems in past with the converters so I just added separate brake lights and wiring. This should take care of the converter problems!
