Default 08 ultra Lehman conversion handling

I have a 2012 triglide. My wife has an 08 ultra that we had converted with a Lehman kit. My triglide turns almost effortlessly. My wife struggles to turn and has a rougher ride then my triglide. We are considering raking her front end and adding a steering damper. Will this make a noticeable improvement? Thanks

Raking the triple trees will. The steering damper is is to lessen the slow speed wobble that is experienced in the handlebars in some trikes

The Tri Glide comes from the factory with raked trees. Yes raked trees will make it easier to steer.

Getting the "rake kit" will make a big difference. The Lehman trikes do ride rougher than some of the other kits out there, but they have a better feel of the road and have little maintenance issues. (I've owned a GW Lehman trike for 9 years now and love it).

Yes, a raked tree will definitely help with the steering especially at low speeds. The damper, not so much.

If it comes from the factory raked, why does the HD site say that the rake on a Triglide is 26 degrees and the rake on a Ultra, Roadking, Street Glide, and just about everything on a touring frame is also 26 degrees?

The 26 degrees listed says "steering head". I don't know but they may have raked trees also.

I don't know and that's why I asked. Your explanation seems reasonable, so I'll go along with it. A raked tree it is. Thanks.
