latest update.
I'm pretty sure i can get the hitch mounted to the bike (with 2 of the 3 holes) but, Bushtec wiring harness will not connect to the 2014 HD wiring harness under the seat.

So i'm kinda dead in the water until bushtec can come up with a new one.

From my perspective the answer is NO! Harley changed the upper frame bolts on the 2014 and they will not work with existing hitches

I have successfully mounted my Bushtec version 1 pin hitch to my 2014 ltd.
It fits except that i can only connect 2 of the 3 side bracket holes to the bike. If you look at my pictures in my prior post you can see which of the 2 holes attached. In a call to Bushtec they told me that they do installs where only 2 screws are attached to the bike.

Still dont have a wiring harness so still not able to pull the trailer. Was told that Bushtec would have a new wiring harness available by mid October. Not sure if they're still on track for that date or not. I actually took my old wiring harness to my local automotive electrical guru guys and asked them if they could modify to adapt to 2014. They said no.
1) they would need schematics from Harley
2) They would need to get the plastic male female connectors and that would cost a fortune cuz you cant just buy the connectors. you would have to buy an entire wiring harness from harley and that could run in the hundreds or more
3) The can bus thing was still unclear to me as to whether that would be an issue or not

I have contacted all the vendors I could find on the net and they all said that they do not fit the 14' Limited. They all said around Spring they have the hitches ready for sell.

I'm going stir crazy and need to go on a ride so gonna have to do it the old way, with T-Bags. Going up to Wisconsin and Door county this week as its supposed to be great weather for the next several days.

you can buy every piece of electrical connectors from harley, electrical diagrams are in back of service manual. if the trailer has LED lights it won't be a big deal. Mike

This is Lewis from Electrical Connection...we build the wiring and electronics for Bushtec.

The 2014 bikes are now all CanBus. They have combined turn signal and brake lights directly from the BCM (body control module). In order to have separate functions, we designed and are building a device that looks at the state the bike's lights are in and creates separate outputs for brake, left turn, right turn, and run. But in such a way it does not cause a CanBus fault.

If your trailer is a 4 wire, all you need is the new sub-harness and the isolator. If your trailer is a 5 wire, you need the new CanBus module.

The pinouts on the 6 pin Molex plug are different on the 2014 bikes. We have a new harness as well.

If you have any questions, or need some clarification, drop me a line. Happy to answer a question.

Lewis

What will the total cost be to setup my 1993 Turbo trailer with the new 2014 Limited motorcycle? I looked on you website and couldn't find the kit you talked about.
