Looking at Street 750
Wife had a Honda Aero she let me trade in on my Electra Glide. After looking at the Street 750, I'm thinking it would be a great bike to get her back on her own AND fun for me to take for a spin too.
She's 5'7" and she likes the balance and height of this bike.
For those who own/have spent time on one, what did you think of it? Pros, cons?
Thanks for your input.

I only had a few hundred miles on mine before cold weather set it. I found it to be a easy bike to handle when making slow tight maneuvers and it tracked fine at speed on twisty's Shifted smooth with good brakes. One of the most comfortable stock seats that I have ridden.
It got 55 mpg and isn't even loosened up yet. The brakes are excellent. The Revolution engine like the Vrod is silky smooth and should last 200,000 miles.
My plan for it is to ride it to Sturgis this year. I added engine guards, fork brace and a windshield for the trip. No luggage rack as I will use a hiking back pack that holds every thing that I need.

I got the guards online from kutterharleyonline.com for20% off free shipping and no sales taxes for out of state.
If you get it and decide that you too need wider pegs just pm me and I will send you mine. I just found a HD set that looks like a gun silencer and is as wide so I went for it!

It really is a great bike and it compliments it's uses very well. I think most of the cons imop are purely cosmetic and because of it's price. The aftermarket isn't there yet, for cosmetics or performance, but it's coming! I've been watching the Streets since the first pics were leaked from India and I was begging the dealer to take my money since last spring. It finally arrived in Jan.

I'm going back and reading a lot of old posts about the Street 750. I love all of these positive responses. What's great about going back is seeing how the experiences are far surpassing the expectations. I just reached over 2500 miles on mine this past month and finally got to that spot where I felt as one with her. Every ride with her makes me happier and happier with my choice.
