Been a while since I posted on HDF. Hope everyone is doing good.

My step-brother bought a '15 750, which was delivered this past saturday.

I'm not sure if he started it while the delivery guy (who was apparently the salesman he bought it from) was there or not, but apparently after 10 sec of idle, the oil light comes on and then flickers on and off.

I personally checked oil level and seems within spec.

Also, I noticed these bikes are water cooled. While the bike was running I can hear what sounds like a thermostat constantly clicking. Doesn't sound right to me but then again, I've never had a water-cooled bike.

I'm pretty sure the oil light is an issue unless I missed something obvious. What about the clicking sound. Is it a thermostat and is that constant clicking normal?

The dealer delivered it? I would be calling them and let them come back. something is not right for sure.

 

Yeah, kinda what I figured. Tried yesterday but contact at the dealer was not available.

OP=any update? I am curious to hear what this ended up being.

 

Bad oil pressure sensor.

Also, the clicking noise was supposedly a loose heatshield.

Dealer handled both of the issues.
