Street 750 revisited
This week was the 750's turn to get it annual run of 1K. I did two rides totaling 284 miles so far. I had not ridden it since I returned with it from Sturgis last year.
I was soon reminded of how precise the tracking is and the firm but comfortable ride. The roads were from some interstate to state and county roads. Some were hilly and twisty some were flat and straight.
Today I filled up at 133 miles and it took 2.5 gallons for a 57.2 mpg. Wow! Peppy and economical. It does not get better than that.
Had some occasions to brake hard. I have heard some say the brakes were not strong. With 2 fingers on the lever and using the foot brake at the same time ( a life long practice) it came down strong.
There simply is no excuses needed to ride a Street. Now if it just had cruise control.
