Sorry, here's the info on the spoked rim kit. It just seemed to me that spending $2,000 for a set of rims on what is typically an entry level bike was a bit much.

Here's the lowdown on that bike pictured above from Chappel Customs http://www.bikermetric.com/custom-ha...ppell-customs/

Like to see what folks have done. Sometimes an owner wants what they want regardless of $.

Expressing one's vision is priceless.

Default Good reading, there are a few additional "common" mods to consider IMHO

[QUOTE=Curated Content Editor;15923102]7 Best Street 500/750 Mods

Good suggestions but some of the ones most important to me are not listed:

1) Wind protection!! If you install a HD detachable windshield then you lose the fairing which, IMHO, would make the Street look naked. I am a Harley-brand-kind-of-woman but Harley's options are fleetingly few for the STREET model. I ordered the Memphis Shades Batwing for the Street ($299), and the 9" purple translucent windshield ($89) that color match my Harley. The Batwing comes in a perfect black paint if you have stock paint. My Batwing remains with the painter who custom painted my bike (ETA 2/23/17).

2) Battery is quiet a challenge to get to, but I appreciate the little diagram inside the triangle cover on the right side of the bike. I bough the HD Battery Tender that has an Alligator hook-up sitting right below the seat, flick it out with a finger and it's hooked up to the Battery Tender:

I have yet to find out if there is or can be installed a 12 volt socket for a USB charger. The STREET has a smartphone/GPS holder but drainage of a phone or GPS is a bit on the quick side. If anyone has a good suggested regarding the 12 volt socket I greatly appreciate sharing.

Check on Amazon, search for motorcycle gps and you can find both a usb block and a 12 cigarette style adapter that plugs into the battery tender dongle. I've been experimenting with the gps and the 12v adapter for traffic reports. Think I will most likely end up going with my phone and the usb block so I can hear turn directions and music via bluetooth earbuds. The 12v adapter I ended up stuffing into 2" hole in the frame, thing is that you have to take the seat off every time to use it. The usb block I can just take the coolant cover off, plug in and route the wire to my tank bag.
