Most of us feel that way at 1 time or another

How do you stay gone and not work on 500.00 Hell the gasoline and food bill will take that in a month. Have always wanted to do something like, I am sure it is not easy to just leave everyone and everything one has worked for.

I did something similar when I got out of the Service in 1979. I had owned bikes since I was very young but when I was discharged after serving my tour, I bought my first new Harley. I traveled around for about two years. However I was not always as comfortable as Scotty here says he is. I did sleep under many a wet sky. I'd grab an odd job pumping gas here and there...remember those days of full service....but I did have a cash reserve that I had sent home every month. I did my best to live on road work and for the most part succeeded. I have memories I will never forget!

I'll pass on that. May seem cool, I like having a home. I'm not knocking them or those that wish to live like that. Just not for me, I have worked too long and hard to be homeless, not to say it couldn't somehow happen. I just don't want it that way.

I'm impressed by how un-roadworn these two look. Geez, Scotty looks like he spends all his time in a gym and no wind-leathered face on Ursula. Congrats to these two for thriving in a difficult lifestyle

Sadly Ursula was in a bad wreck in MN a couple of weeks ago on her way to Sturgis. She collided with a car passing a truck in a two lane. After a few surgeries they had to amputate her left leg at the knee. I've been kind of following the story and it's amazing how well this woman is handling this. I believe she's in GA now with family.

Well that's sad news. Anybody have any contact info (Facebook link or other) where someone can help her out or at least provide encouragement and support?

That is very sad news, but I am glad to hear that she is recovering. Thanks for the update.
