I never knew it was illegal in the USA? Standard practice in the UK. If there is traffic...pass it? obviously do it as safely and swiftly as possible with limited impact on the car/truck/tractor drivers or they will move in the way of the next biker out of spite.

Ride how you like as long as it makes you happy and doesn't impact on others. Just get out there and enjoy what you have while you have it
