Yesterday was a fine example of why most of us hang out here; the people. I PM'd feedDunk yesterday morning early and told him I wanted to get the mascot to Indiana and closer to Traildog so he could at least sign it. I was leading a group ride over there and wondered if on such short notice he could meet me.

We got out on the road and a few texts and a phone call later we met in Batesvillle. As you would expect, he and his wife are great people; I always enjoy meeting forum members. It was getting warm and the group I had was getting a little antsy so we took the pic, transferred the mascot and rode north to Oldenburg and that great section of 229

We made sure we had each other's info because Donna and I will get together with them later this year (we ride in Indiana a lot). Yesterday was one of those days where everything is right

Traildog want's to come to me and sign the Mascot. We will meet at IndyWest Harley Davidson on Sunday August 14th then head out to meet Firewoman. Traildog has expressed interest in riding out to meet her as well. We plan on riding the Turkey Run area for a bit then head home. Sounds like a good day!

Look forward to meeting traildog and seeing Firewoman again. It's been 3 years since I last saw her and signed the Mascot!

 

I have volunteered to move the mascot further along from Tulsa, OK. Redoilokie is picking it up this weekend, the weekend of 9/10 I can move it from Tulsa to as far south as San Antonio. If anyone want's it speak up.
