Well we have another hand off,
I met up with Anubisss this morning at a place in Lancaster, CA called "Crazy Otto's". Other than a fantastic breakfast & cool ride out. Anubiss turns out to be a stand up dude with a dynomite fatboy. He has the mascott now as well & will be coming at ya with it BlueRose. Here's some pics of the handoff.

I looked back a few posts and couldn't find a definitive plan for the mascot past the Pacific Rally. OK, I didn't really look that hard, but anyway - if Bluerose is bringing it to Tahoe next week, I can easily get it there and bring it to Street Vibrations in Reno. I'm riding down to Las Vegas Bikefest the following weekend, so I could bring it there and hand it off. It looks like it was just in Laughlin, but at least it would keep moving.
Thanks again to all that worked hard and rode great distances in sweltering heat to get it out here....[sm=smiley31.gif]
I bought Anubisss lunch for coming to my aide while my back was out...wish I could have done it for clutchglass too....You guys are great!
So far as the Mascot's future it will be going south then back north. Lots of folks in San Diego want a chance to ride with it. It would be really unfair for those that have been waiting a couple of years to not get a chance to carry it.California is 900 miles from the bottom upand it would be a shame for it only to go 300 miles of that.
I'll stop in Tahoe then take it back south for the LA Meet and Greet then hand it off to a southerner to go south to San Diego before it heads north again. We already have folks waiting in the Northern states (WA and OR) too.

Sounds like a plan...... I want in on the northern run to Oregon when it heads up. i am in the Sacramento area and more than willing to ride half way to L.A for a pick up. I could then do a Sacramento area meet and greet and then helpmove the mascot north to Oregon from there.
Ok so we were bad kids and parked on the sidewalkto get lunch[&:]
Yes we did have to snag a unsuspecting passer-by to get this one, but it was great!

Backatya there BlueRose,
You have gone to a lot of trouble for the pacific rally. It's folks like you who make this forum thing worth doing. I only wish I was able to get out to the rally & make the yosimite run. Truth be known, this #!%^& stock seat would break my already broken down airborne back if I tried. At this point, I'm going back & forth between making an attempt atbuilding mymy own seat...waiting a while longer for a corbin...or looking for something else.
........................."Break" Anubisss, I tried to PM you a link to a $45 air compressor for your air brush...but your box is over it's size limit.
