Have not yet transferred pics from my phone to my pc, but the Mascot made it South to Islamorada for lunch with me, Wakko and Steevo (GoPro etc). Steevo took a bunch of pics and maybe some video which I'm sure he'll post later. We went to Alabama Jacks on the way home. Great ride almost 300 miles, even if most of it was Turnpike, and NO RAIN.

I now have the mascot in Delray Beach, who wants it next? Where?

 

Oh, quote of the day .......... sitting at Alabama Jacks with a soda and a little boy about 8 years old comes to talk to Steevo and cannot stop staring at his head. Then he asks 'What happened to your hair?'

 

Good ride...my tailbone was numb when we got back, so it was just long enough. Great weather, not too hot, no rain, not alot of traffic either. Hey Lauren, you forgot that the kid wanted to touch Steevo's head, too!

The Mascot brought us good luck on our Ride to the Keys. And even though we did NOT make it all the way to Key West, we DID get some good pics to share.

We met at 8 this morning in Delray and went south on the Turnpike, stopped for gas around Homestead, then rode through Key Largo, stopping at the Rain Barrel with the lobster for a pic, then to Hog Heaven for a mediocre early lunch and signing the Mascot on the little beach overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Back up Overseas Hwy to Alabama Jacks for a soda and back onto the Turnpike north.
It was an uneventful ride, no rain, scattered clouds which kept us pretty cool.

Too cool. If that had been my leg I would stayed a month in Key West.
