I added all that I have done to it in an earlier post, right after the battery relay post. Not getting enough fuel pressure thru service line, so going into tank and see what I find in there. Going to take a quick disconnect fitting off an old fuel line and rig up an adapter for a fuel pressure gauge so I can check the pressure build up and see if it leaks down one day this week. Would like to give the wife a Christmas present by taking her for a ride sometime around the holiday, lol.

Did you check the quick disconnect fitting Pull down the cover and see if the collar is worn down by the ball bearings in the fitting. I remember seeing a thread about this. The ball bearings will cut a groove in the collar of the fitting, making so that the fitting will connect, but it will not go up far enough to fully engage the check valve.

Yes, fitttings seem to be fine. Doesn't seem like it's building any pressure, so I will have to go into tank and check filter pick-up, to see if it picked anything up when I had the fuel tank upside down when I had it off.

Pulled fuel pump assembly today to check for pin holes, none found. Before I pulled it out, you push up on the pressure side bung with a Phillips screw driver, fuel just trickles out. After checking it out and reinstalling, pushing up on the check valve gave me a pressure squirt for an instance, then nothing until you turn key off and back on. Money's all spent right now, but wondering if I need to replace pump or/and filter? Stealership gave me a quote of 1034.39 for all the replacement parts, which, right now, would be a pipe dream for me to come up with. Before I start rat holing cash to replace it all, any ideas how I can do it economically? See Delphi fuel pumps on fleabay for 50.00 but not the filter or pressure side hose. Anywhere to get these at a more reasonable price?

I got my pump from eBay. Try using the following part numbers on a eBay search, 61342-00 ,61342-00A, 75126-00, or 75126-00A for the pump. Some of them come with the in tank supply line and pickup sock. Drag Specialties has the quick release fittings with the in tank line part # 0706-125. Also Drag has the tank gasket and screws. The filter is a Harley part only, about $100. I haven't been able to cross reference a substitute.

Thanks Dan, I'll start searching after the holidays are over.

New Castle HD, Surdykes HD, I don't know if Lakeside HD does discounts any more.
61959-00 filter only. 61343-00 filter kit, hoses to filter in & out, crimp clamps, and retaining ring. About a $50 difference between filter only and the kit.
If you are replacing the fuel pump some of the ebay ones come with a hose.
