New Injectors, now what?
Installed new 4.3 white band injectors from HPI in my MMFX 51mm throttlebody due to a bad front one. Started, rode home(6 miles) shut it off and plugged in maintainer. Went today and tried to start it and doesn't seem to be getting any fuel, no kickback, nothing. Pulled both plugs, bone dry. Spark from both plugs is a nice bright blue to white, but no fuel smell, even with plugs out. Anybody give me a direction to look to chase down THIS problem? Need to add fuel pump runs for a few seconds then quits, like it always has.

Can't help you with that. All the ones I have looked at only had one quick connect. The quick connect has a flow control valve that won't let the fuel flow when disconnected. It usually only leaks a little when disconnected. Not sure what you have. I do know if the quick connect oring goes bad it does what you are talking about. Not the only reason for no start. Not sure if you have a fuse in the injector circuit, but would check that. Also the system relay can cause this. I saw in another post about swapping the system relay with another relay and if it runs you found the problem. Don't remember what relay it was. Sorry not much help.

Have you had a little kickback when you started it first time after the injector install?
If so I agree with KE. The ***** used in the quick connect wear and allow the socket to come away by a fraction causing the valve to close.
I had it twice on mine and found out by accident. Push the connector whilst switching the run switch. If you hear a difference in the sound of the fuel system pressurising you found your problem. Good luck and let us know.

disconnected it twice then pushed up to see if it made a difference, no change in pump sound and still no gas to cylinders. Wondering if maybe I have the fuel lines reversed, even though I tried to change them but wouldn't work. When I disconnect the pressure line, fuel just dribbles for a few seconds, like even though pump spools up and shuts off, not enough fuel to put much pressure on the line. Same with return, I unplug it, and just 2 or 3 drops come out then stops. I had tank upside down when I replace injectors, so wonder if I knocked something into filter.

Pressure side on this one has always leaked when disconnected. First time I took tank off in 07 it leaked for just a couple of minutes then quits. It will start on starting fluid, just the second you hit the start button, but dies as soon as it runs out. will call HPI tomorrow as it's their throttlebody and injectors, so maybe they can tell me if I screwed up by turning tank upside down.
