Anybody got the filter dimensions for one of the heavy breather intakes?? Guess it would be the standard 29424-05A filter (or equivalent) from the catalog.

Length-
Mounting flange inside dia-
Base outside dia-
Top (forward) outside dia-

 

why don't you replace it with a good filter such as the K&N?

There are 2 filters that fit on these HB setups. The shorter one is for use on bikes that have lowers installed to clear the lower.

 

I am going to replace it with a good quality filter; K&N does not meet that definition for me! Amsoil makes universal conical filters, but there's no cross reference list for the heavy breather filter, thus my simple question of asking if anyone had dimensions? I don't currently have access to one to measure myself. I also specified the standard filter, not the shorter one. Thanks though.

Length- 6"
Mounting flange inside dia- 2.5"
Base outside dia-5.25"
Top (forward) outside dia-3.375"
