fuel line quick connect o-ring?
Just as the title says. I have an 05 Ultra classic. The quick connect fuel line out of the fuel tank has an o-ring inside it. The fitting is leaking fuel if I attach the line, it stops unhooked. I can see the o-ring up inside it and the edge is cut off. I need to replace it. question is can I get just the o-ring or have to replace the entire quick connect that screws in the fuel tank?

If you`re careful you can use a pair of angled tweezers or internal snap ring pliers. The tricky part is removing the "O" ring without tearing it completely up, so you have something to match for a replacement. Putting in the new one is not a problem, though.

The orings that work for the drain plug will work. If the tank is unplugged for awhile. It's a good idea to lube it a bit when plugging it back in.
