Default 2015 forty eight

If I put the stage 1 screaming eagle intake kit on my bike do I have to get it recalibrated asap? Or is that the dealer talking? Is it something that can wait?

Are you only running the Stage 1 intake, and have you also changed the pipes? Basic consensus about only changing one or the other is ECM calibration is not needed.
With that said, these bikes run lean from the factory and a couple of dealers I spoke to in Houston said their download wouldn't help with a lean condition.
I tried the NightRider XIEDs and they sucked on my 2014.
Ended up with the Fuel Moto Micro EFI for $199, which is only a few $$$ more then the dealer download, and the NightRider crap.
I've been very happy with it and Fuel Moto's support. Easy to change maps, and holds 3 maps. It's only about a 2 beer install time.

Contact Fuel Moto and either get their Micro EFI or Power Commander 5. The micro is only $50 more then the dealer download, but wont raise the RPM range. If you need help installing it, I can make some time to help.
