Default Using Mytune

I tried using Mytune earlier today. Could not get it to work and still cant. More then likely my fault. I downloaded it and bought the license to go with it. When I downloaded it I hit the open with button and tired opening it with a program by accident. Long story there. Anyways I have tried uninstalling it then reinstalling the mytune software. Still no go. Tired to download the license many times. Still not working. Keeps saying I have the evaluation version. As a last resort I tried on another computer with the same results. When trying to load a calibration to the mytune by using the load button I keep getting a error message saying I need to load a calibration. I contacted the company for help. Sadly we could not fix the issue. Any one here have any luck getting it to work? If someone could help me resolve the issue that would be great. After all the problems with my laptop, the SEPST software and now the mytune software Im ready to just have it dyno tuned but that seems to be a waste with just slip ons and a gutted cat.

Why do you need mytune ? The SESPT has smart tune which does the same as mytune. I do not think mytune works with the latest SESPT software. I used mytune years ago before they had smart tune in the SESPT.

Default My Tune installation

You have to install the license file in the " DOCUMENTS " folder or it will not recognize the license.
You also have to select the proper base map for it to accept your data. Mine was showing VE vs Throttle position at first and when I selected my basemap # ( 044AAO00.3.dt0 ) then at that point it showed VE vs MAP.
Then you need to open the working VE table in the HD software and click on the RPM tab at the very top left corner of the grid and the whole thing will turn purple. Then hit control-C to copy. Do the same in My TUNE, except use control-V. The whole grid will turn blue in MY TUNE.

here is where the license is copied to after install
C:\Program Files (x86)\GearHead Software\MyTune

My Tune works well in addition to SEPST and according to others with TTS & PV. In my experience it requires less hits in a cell to make a recommendation and then also blends adjoining cells which smooths out the graph
