Carb Problem?
Hi all,
I have a 2003 Dyna Low Rider. Just getting it out this year and this is what I've encountered. Tried to start a couple of weeks ago and wasn't getting gas to the carb. Drained the old gas out of the tank from the petcock, put new gas in and it started and ran good just sitting, went for a short ride and it was bogging down at higher speeds. Parked it, tried to start the next day and wouldn't turn over. Sat for a couple more days, found a loose ground, now it will turn over. Now I'm getting what looks like a oil gas mix shooting out of the two rubber plugs that sit under the air cleaner at ten and two o'clock. It will start but still get the fluid shooting from the two rubber plugs. Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like your fuel system and carb are gummed up. The oil you are seeing is probably oil from the breathers from the heads into your AC. Make sure you don't have too much oil in your oil tank. You should only check your oil while the motor is warm. Too much oil will cause the breathers to blow by oil into the AC.
