Well I stopped in my way home and filled the gas tank up, there was a line at the pump and I forgot to wait and see if the prime stopped. I checked after my 20 mile ride home and sure enough the bike primes for a second then shuts off like it should. I tried it 4-5 times throughout the evening and works just like it should all the time now. I'll have to wait until it happens again to try some more troubleshooting.

 

Hello, it is an old discussion, but i have thé same problem with a softail from 2007. Thé problem became After a pcv update. I replaced Relay, but nothing.
how do you solve your problem please?
