Default Power vision tuning questions

Just got my Power Vision. Bike already has the HD Stage 1 tune installed at the dealer, so I have that copied off already. It's a '15 Low Rider btw.

As far as mods go, I have a Screamin Eagle stage 1 air cleaner and a set of Cycle Shack slip ons, on factory Street Bob head pipes. Dynojet has a tune for the 103 dyna with the SE Stage 1 AC and V&H twin slash slip ons, which are probably pretty close to the Cycle Shacks.

My questions:
Which tune should I use for the starting point of the auto-tune (basic) process, the HD stage 1 tune, or the Dynojet tune closest to my configuration? and, how many auto tune runs are typical, 2, 3, 10?

Thanks

You could work from either, but the DJ tune may be better to work with as many have mentioned problems with the factory flash tunes.

Typically 3-4 autotune runs are adequate if you get good map coverage with your runs. You want to see the delta's between runs at less than 5% for VE's. Then you're done.

Great, thank you. I'll scrap the HD tune and load the DJ tune that's closest and have at it. (I'm guessing V&H twin slash duals are the closest match to the Cycle Shacks I've got) I may wait a day or two for the bracket to arrive - so I can see the coverage while riding.

I believe you can save the dealer tune as well.

Spent a couple hours running auto tunes. It's amazing how much better the bike runs. Makes me want to keep auto tuning, but I expect deminishing returns. And like an idiot I didn't pay attention to the deltas.

I may load them up on the PC and see the deltas.

If you saved your auto tuned maps you can compare them with win PV and see the delta in %
