I was out riding today and no problems. Pulled up in the yard and slightly raced the engine and exhaust popped. Weird? Then the bike was idling at 2000 rpm. Then I noticed a loud noise behind the air cleaner. Great stepper motor has failed maybe. I have code p1511 p2101. I noticed my V&H tuner numbers not moving. Did this cause the problem, not sure. I removed tuner and same problem. I can clear the codes, runs fine but buzz's constantly them back into limp mode and codes. The stepper motor buzz's loud when you key on or running. If you touch the throttle blade it vibrating.


Anyone seen throttle body make this noise? I believe its bad. I don't think its the bad connector issue.

 

**Update**
Throttle body was bad. You could open throttle and let it shut then hear the gears spin on motor. Going to take it apart just to look.


Bought new pull off EBay with injectors for $65 and runs just fine now and no codes.

So it was your throttle body that was bad. I saw u posted something u bought for 65 bucks, did that fix your problem? Dealer told me I need a new throttle body!!! But don't want to spend that kind of money for one.

 

Any update or issues?
