EFI not cooperating!
I have a 2005 Dyna Wide Glide, 1450cc(88cid), with 21,000 miles(not K's). Got a starting/EFI issue! This has happened 4-5 times, over a couple of weeks! I'd go for a ride, shut down the bike for a cuple of minutes, and when I'd go to re-start it, the bike turns over fine, but doesn't fire up! Wait 5-10min's, and the bike would start up fine! Now bike won't start at all, and I'm not hearing the "click" that comes from fuel injection when you turn on the ignition(after turning on main power switch)! Question #1-How likely is it that the fuse/relay for EFI has "sometimers"? Question #2-If it's not the fuse, what would be the next move be?

Thanks for the reply, and your service! I've never used the security system, so I have my doubts. Reading as much as I can soak in, there's a few things it could be, so I'm going to start with the easiest, and grab a new relay, and go from there! "Aim High...Fly-Fight-Win"

Did what I knew I could on my own, but got to the point where it was time to take it to the experts! Tech/mech hooked it up to dyno-machine and I guess it went squirrely. He went at it "old-school" and found the issue. I'm owner #3, and someone prior to me owning it, blew a fuse, and used a tiny piece of wire as a quick-fix, in place of the fuse. When they put in new fuse, "whoever" didn't remove the wire! Told me I was lucky it didn't screw up everything! $165 later, it runs better than it ever did since I've owned it! Probably all in my head, but who cares, back in the saddle again! Think I'll go to Sudbury for the weekend!
