I have a 13 Wide Glide just picked up , guy that had it was gettin married an future wife made him get rid of it ! This guy was not much on mechanics all he did was change bars & seat and on the bars he cut the harness , put on new bars , twisted the wires together and taped them up. When I bought the bike 2 weeks ago it started right up , took it for a short ride an on the way home started running like it might of had some water in the fuel or maybe his wiring job went wrong , that was when I inspected the wiring at the handle bars and found his fine job... I just got a chance to work on it today , run the wires back through the bars ,extended wires for front turn signal relocate, inspected twice, soldered all wires, turned on the switch, nothing but head & tail lights. No high beam, dash lights,no horn,no turn signals,no starter !!! Did I do something to the ECM , I had the ignition off but not the switch at the bars ???????? It only has 2900 miles on it and I have never worked on anything newer than a 96. I GUESS I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT A MANUAL FIRST !!!!!!!! ANY WORDS OF ADVICE ANYBODY

Pretty sure your bike has a bcm. Try disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes. That will clear any codes they may be stored. While it's disconnected, pull the fuses and see if any are blown. If that doesn't work, you may have to get an electrical manual to make sure your wires are correctly placed in the hard shell connector. Good luck with it.

greybeard122 , sometimes it's the little things that have you second guessing your self and #### you all up . THANX ALOT , always great to have someone looking at a different angle to point out the simple things you should have looked at first ! (FUSE) I usually only need to be slapped in the back of the head once. USUALLY !!!
