Default Lost key fob

Trying to figure out where I lost it??? If I had it in my pocket and got it started... Then it fell out of pocket ... I guess the bike wouldn't give a warning?

Nope. Once you've turned it off and then it won't restart, that's the only hint you're going to get that somethings amiss! If you knew where you lost it then it wouldn't be lost now would it ???

I feel a lot more like I do now than I did a while ago.

If you had the fob when you started the bike, and then at some point it fell out of your pocket, the odometer window showed a "NO FOB" warning. It's only displayed for a few seconds, and you just missed it while you were riding.

I set up a backup PIN just in case this ever happens to me. Plus I gave my wife the other fob, she never loses anything...or forgets anything lol

You need to know how to override the Fobs security. It's all explained in the Owners Manual. There's also an App called V-Twin Reference that I carry on my phone that has the same information along with other helpful tips.

Thanks to everyone not pointing out I am a DS... I have checked out the manual and I will download the app. Heading to the dealer tomorrow to get a new fob.

Red face

Your bike actually had two fobs when new. If you bought your bike new, then there is another one somewhere......

I have the second one in the safe... I used it and made my way to the dealer. $91 for the new one. They said it was a common occurrence. I hope it was my last. Still love the RGS!!!!
