I paid the Harley tax about a year and a half ago and got the Stage I tune when I had a Big Sucker A/C installed on my XL1200C with 2 1/2" Cycle Shack slip ons.

Im still researching tuners but wanted to put some 3" Python Mamba slip ons on my bike in the mean time.

Will the 1/2 inch difference in the slip ons make it run too lean and require a new tune?

I have zero decel pop and I'm happy with the way my bike runs currently. I'm still learning about tuning and AFR and understand that the stage I map from the dealer is leaner than most would prefer who do their own work.

I just don't want to do any damage to my bike by adding the 3" slip ons or cause a decrease in performance before I'm able to purchase my own tuner.
