The seller sez that 600 RPM idle oil pressure will be OK...... He'll rebuild customer engines for free where that proves not to be the case?

For the life of me I can't figure out why people keep trying to make a twin cam sound like something it isn't. I've listened to twin cams with the idle turned down, it still sounds like a twin cam, except it sounds like a stock twin cam that has a mechanical problem. I seldom agree with everything Harley does, I do however agree with their chosen idle rpm, you get proper oil circulation and the charging system puts out what it's supposed to do.

I wouldn't by anything from a company or an individual that can't properly spell or use the proper grammar to get the actual point of his product across to the public. I'd leave it alone.

I was not thinking about lowering the idle but more of less electronic parts that fail.
I need a new idle control sensor for my bike. And I can across this. I just thought it might be a better replacement than a stock part. Any thought on that?

It's called an Idle Control "Sensor" for a reason. Without the ECU picking up the signal from the sensor the bike is liable to run a little off when coming to a stop or while warming up. For a small $50 part it would be best to get the real deal replacement. Have you tried taking some MAF sensor cleaner to it?

Removing the IAC will also result in loss of idle control codes and a check engine light. The IAC also prevents stalling on decel and functions in idle strategies based on VSS input to the ECM.
