I've posted this prob. previously, Getting a check engine lite everytime I turn my 07 low rider on because I took off the tach and sold the tach. Diagnostic code = low tach (because there is no tach). Tried hooking up an aftermarket tach, didn't work. I went to my local stealership to see if the code can be deleted, they said no. I'm stuck with it on because I removed the tach. Probably bullshit, but I have ordered a Dakota digital STM 100 data breakout unit which should allow me to hook up my handlebar tach and also be able to erase the low tach code. I sure hope so.
