Default 48 CEL and sputtering

I have a 2012 48 with about 2600 miles on it. I bought it 6 months ago with 1400 miles on it, these last 1200 have had zero issues until today.

Today I took the scenic route home from work, 20 minutes into my ride I pulled out on the highway, got up to about 60 and noticed my CEL and battery lights were on, bike was running fine. After a minute or two, lights went off and the engine starting cutting out. I don't know if it was actually the bike dying and roll starting itself back up, I could definitely hear the exhaust skip a few beats when it did it, and the speedo would be erratic, not on/off erratic, but jumping around to different speeds.

This cycled 6 or 7 times on the way home, CEL and battery light would come on, but run fine, lights would turn off and the engine would stumble for 10 or 15 seconds, then the lights would come back on, and run fine. It never died at any redlights.

Once home I killed it and gave it the once over, Everything looks fine. Tried to restart it, had to turn over a few times but it cranked, acting like the battery is a little low (brand new when I bought the bike). I did this 2 or 3 times and it cranked every time and idled fine.

The only thing on the bike I've done electronics wise, is put on a new license plate bulb when I switched to a vertical mount about 50 miles ago. But I really don't think a single LED would cause this much trouble

I would check for codes through the speedo. Then I would pull speedo pick up and check/clean metal off of it.

A quick googling of that code combo seems to point towards voltage regulator going out.

I'm pretty sure that's it. Got out today and went over everything closer, looks good.

In neutral in my garage, I can hold about 2k RPMs, the headlight kind of flickers, gets brighter and dimmer, when the lights flicker, I get back firing.

Bikes under warranty, looks like a trip to the dealership is in order
