When these O2 Eliminators are fitted, do they merely stop the warning light from coming on, or do they actually decommission the sensors within the ECU. When Eliminators are fitted, does the ECU keep looking for a sensor reading, if it does, what does it do when it can't get a reading?
John, what do you mean by O2 Eliminators? The only things I can think of are IEDS, made by Nightrider, which don't eliminate O2 sensors, but do fool them.

Some systems out there use O2 eliminators. These for example come with eliminators that you use by "unplugging" the sensors and plugging an eliminator into the system. I have been using it since 08 and love them.
My fully tuned Sporty ran way better with o2 eliminators than it ever did in closed loop with IEDs or even normal O2s. That testing lead me to the source of the tuning issues of the Sportsters.
No matter what anybody cares to "call" them they eliminate the sensors.
It does matter, as Dobeck don't make any mention of 'eliminators' that I can find, but they do talk of 'O2 sensor bypass', if that is what you're referring to.

Language barrier? If something is eliminated from the system it is "eliminated" in both British or American English. Have a great day. I am sure anyone else can understand what I am saying.
