Default O2 sensor

Does anyone know if this statement is true?

"Changing the O2 sensors to a wider band will allow the engine to run cooler?"

If so, please be specific.

You can only get the benefit of wide band sensors if you use a tuner designed for them. Just installing them on a stock bike won't work.
One easy, cheap way to make the bike run cooler is with a set of XIED's. But the best way is to get it tuned properly.

I have a Screaming Eagle tuner, Stage 1 and true duals.

No it isn't true. Just switching over to a WB isn't going to make anything run magically cooler. It is just a sensor that puts out a voltage. It's a pretty vague, out of context statement.
