Throttle hesitation

Throttle hesitation
Hey guys, not sure if this is the right spot for this.....
I have a fuel injected 98 RKC. I have developed a hesitation on the throttle. When a give it gas there is a slight delay, if I roll on very slowly, no delay. Sometimes when approaching a stop, the idle will remain high, as if it is stuck? Weird. Doesn't do it all the time. The hesitation is intermittent as well. The other day sitting at a light, the idle would go up and down all on its own. The engine has come on, then it has gone off. When I start the bike the engine light does not come on as if there was a code....
I know it s a lot of weird stuff, but was hoping I could get some direction.

No Idle Air Controller (IAC) on a Magneti Marelli EFI.
This system uses an Idle Speed Controller (ISC), a mechanical linkage idle control for both cold and warm/hot running. Two separate screws.
Check for intake leaks...this will drive poor idle quality.
Also check fuel pressure for possible pressure leaks inside the tank and/or plugged up fuel filter.
Check the linkage on the forward side of the throttle body to assure the nut with the tab to hold it from turning, is there holding the linkage together. Sometimes this nut comes loose which, in turn, causes all kinds of idle issues.
