Bike was running great on Friday. I had a couple upgrades I wanted to install (LED headlight and the flush mount fuel gauge and cap). Everything seemed to go really smooth. Until I tried starting the bike on Sunday night. I can hear the pump "whine" when I turn it to run, but when I start it, the engine turns over, but never starts? I don't see how anything I was working on has anything to do with this? I can take a spark plug out and spray some starting fluid in there and the bike with start for a second or 2, but thats it.

Any suggestions?
PS I am running a Cobra autotuner for over 1 year without a problem not sure if disconnecting the battery can cause that to lose anything or what not.

1. Don't use any starter fluid in your bike. No bueno!
2. Disconnect the tuner and see what happens.
3. Check for any trouble codes in the ECU.

 

Disconnected the tuner and now it's working. Odd that it was working prior to the installation of the fuel gauge. I don't see how that has anything to do with the tuner. I double checked all the connections but doesn't look like i am getting any power to the tuner.
